360 Hoops: Empowering the Next Generation of Female Athletes with Renowned Coach Sarah Behn
360 Hoops and Sarah Behn Partner to Bring More Play to Girls’ Basketball
May 29 | Foxborough, Massachusetts — 360 Hoops has partnered with longtime coach and Basketball by Behn founder Sarah Behn to bring its three-basket platform to more young athletes across New England. Behn will also serve as a strategic advisor, helping 360 Hoops shape an experience that makes player development more engaging and gives more girls a chance to play.
The partnership began at the Behn Hurricanes’ end-of-season celebration at ForeKicks in Taunton, where more than 125 athletes and coaches got their first experience playing 360 Hoops.
This summer, 360 Hoops will be integrated into all 25 Behn Camps, introducing thousands of girls to a new way to practice, compete, and have fun. Behn and her programs, including the Behn Hurricanes, will also participate in and promote the 360 Hoops summer tournament series at Game On Sports & Performance in Fitchburg, scheduled for June 14–15, July 19–20, and August 9–10.
“I’m super excited about our partnership with 360 Hoops and Basketball by Behn and Behn Camps,” said Behn. “It gets kids more touches. It gets kids looking at the basket. It helps develop a scorer’s mentality. It’s a really great teaching tool for some of the most important aspects of basketball development.”
Behn currently serves as head coach at Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree. An All-American at Foxborough High School, she went on to become the first female athlete at Boston College to have her jersey retired and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 1998. Her nearly 30 years of coaching experience include seven seasons as a Division I head coach. Through Basketball by Behn, she continues to help young athletes build their skills, confidence, and love of the game.
